Sometimes when you’re feeling low, what you need is fun with friends to give you that much needed lift.
And that’s exactly what happened at last years Eroticon. Life leading up to the conference had been hectic and all I wanted was a break, not an exhausting weekend in London. Usually I get excited by them but this time I’d actually forgotten all about it and by then it was too late to get my money back.
Luckily I get my energy from friends and that’s exactly what happened. A fun few hours being toyed with by Pointy and The Keeper before heading out for dinner together pepped me back up again.
And luckily my energy spike also kicked in enough to remember I needed a lift to add to my Scavenger Hunt locations. So on the way out, with an empty corridor we took that opportunity. One of us flashed, one of us held the door and the other of us took the photo before jumping in the lift and heading out.
Obviously that also meant a huge crash the following day and I had to crawl home earlier than planned and curl up for a few days. But for those hours together, getting that lift was exactly what I needed to feel like me again.
