I’m fairly sure most of us heard that as we were growing up. A punishment of sorts, although I was never sure it was a punishment because that’s where my books were so I could read!
Fast forward to yesterday. I got to spend a very fun day with friends in a dungeon. And whilst lots of deliciousness was happening I was ‘sent to my room’ or in this case locked in a cell so I could only hear what was going on unless a little barred window was open to allow me to watch.
Like in childhood, being sent to my room wasn’t much of a punishment because I’m very much a voyeur and loved seeing and hearing all the fun happening around me.
