Sinful Sunday

Finding the right clothes that feel and look good on me often leaves me feeling shirty and grumpy.

I mentioned in last weeks post about nudity, how I struggle in finding clothes that don’t make my teeth itch. I have no idea what it is that makes clothes feel so horrible but I’ve found out over the past year it is something that’s incredibly common.

On discovery I’d have to spend more time in an office thanks to a new job, I had to find something I was not only comfy in but also something work appropriate. Luckily I have awesome people in my life and one of those is my friend Pointy who dragged me off on a shopping trip.

Turns out, shirts feel pretty damn good on me and they’re usually super comfy too. I do have to be aware of the style, thick ones are good for most of the year, however they aren’t so great for our 2 weeks of UK summer. For short sleeved, thinner shirts I can’t have anything plain because I need to hide my nipples!

What transpired is a new addiction for shirts. I can’t help myself looking for new ones, the whackier and queerer the better, so long as they also pass off as mostly professional.

It also transpired that shirts look pretty damn good on me too. Turns out, sometimes you have to get shirty to find out what works for you.

  1. I think finding clothes that make us feel good is often a challenge but when we do it is such a wonderful feeling

  3. Love this image and can also agree on a love for for shirts, for me I love shirts for affirming my queerness. Roll on the winter days so I can start wearing them again. 🙂
