I did love having pretty fingernails, there were times I’d get carried away with nail art, sometimes I’d just have something sparkly. It all depended on my mood when I was seeing the nail technician.
Since the world shut down in March 2020 and I had to scrape the acrylic nails off myself, I realised how bad my own nails were. Weak and papery. But not just that, I realised how much easier life is being able to pick things up with my real nails was and not having to push buttons with my knuckles instead of my finger tips any more.
Then there is the obvious, pushing fingers into cunts without acrylic nails is so much more hygienic and I’m less likely to catch delicate skin. I can graze them over nipples knowing I’m not going to dig too deep. I can scratch peoples back and dig them into skin without fearing I’m going to break their skin.
Likewise, I love being scratched, that feeling of someone being lost in the moment and their primal nature being set free.

These are incredible! Bizarrely, I hate the feel of polish on my fingernails, and I wouldn’t enjoy having my nails done. These look fun to play with though!

I love the way acrylics look but like you my nails really suffered. I’m quite keen to get a manicure this spring / summer, but won’t be going mad. I so love the bees though and very you xx

I LOVE these Bee nails but I can totally understand the benefits of not having them. The one time I indulged, despite them looking very pretty, they drove me MAD and I couldn’t wait to get them off

There are definitely benefits to keeping nails natural but oh I do sometimes miss the days when mine were all done nicely, I never once had them done as cool as your bee nails though. That really is such a fab picture, it’s made me smile every time it’s popped up on Twitter this week 🙂
