Actually, you’d be wrong. There are a huge number of reasons people don’t like them, I could list hundreds but let’s just go for not everyone likes the same thing.
For me personally, on their own, they just do nothing for me. I’ve often said I’m dead on the inside as I much prefer external to internal stimulation. I don’t know whether it’s because I just don’t get anything from the feeling or if it’s partly down to dysphoria. I try not to overthink it and enjoy what I do and move on from what I don’t.
I go through phases where I see people with huge collections of dildos and I wonder what I’m missing out on. They always intrigue me because once you’ve tried one, you’ve tried them all. I guess that isn’t true but other than size differences or texture, both of which are just uncomfortable to the point of hurting, I don’t understand why you’d need more than one.
I have tried but the number of times I’ve cast them aside because they do nothing for me except leave me frustrated. Then I do the job with my hand because that actually works!
The most use I get out of a dildo is when it’s strapped to someone, then I enjoy it because there is the closeness of someone and we’re both enjoying ourselves.
Don’t get me wrong though, I do own dildos. They’re pretty ones and deserve to be displayed somewhere where they can be admired. A couple are just too big for me to be able to use, some of them are textured so I can’t use them.
Out of the collection two get used. The one with the bi flag is my go to give someone to put in a harness, the other is the blood splattered one which can be attached to a fucking machine. Strangely enough they’re the same dildo, just a different colour scheme, even then I find them too hard and the bulbous end can get very uncomfortable quickly.
So all in all I’m definitely more dildon’t than dildo, however they do have their uses.

I love that all bodies are so different.
I’m a dil-DO too, and have a variety of sizes, shapes and materials. (And still i get creative and play with random insertibles) Texture wins out for me most days, either knobbly bits or veins or ridged bodies. But smooth for bigger stretching, or multiple smooth slimmer ones. But I find them satisfying, rather than climax inducing so there’s that too

As you know, I am a dil do do do do Do DO! But I totally get that they aren’t for everyone. I like being overwhelmed with internal sensations and have a much more sketchy relationship with my clit.
Mind you, I do also love wrapping my hand around a dildo just before pushing it into one of my favourite people in the world. I know that you know exactly what I am talking about.
