Whats the buzz #34

It’s been one of those months for me. Things have got on top of me, I’ve struggled quite a bit and I haven’t been able to read as much as I’d like to this month. Lets hope the worst is behind me and I can get myself back on track again.

This is everything I’ve ever tried to say about labels but said far better than I ever could. We need labels to explain who we are and how we identify. But flip that around and labels are weapons to be used against you or to push you into that box that we’re actually far to big and squishy to fit neatly into.

Confessions of a sex blogger by Little Switch Bitch

I feel this so much. There have been times I feel like I’m just having sex for something to write about. Needing to try a particular thing in order to write about that experience. I want to enjoy sex for what it is, not something I’m obliged to do in order to find content. It’s also one of the main reasons I decided very early on to not write reviews. I want to add toys for fun, not because I haven someone harassing me for a review. I’m so glad LSB wrote about this because I think many of us feel that pressure but keep it to ourselves.

Oh my goodness she is back and she is on fire. I read this two parter when I was supposed to be getting out of bed this morning but ended up staying put because I just had to act on my feelings or else I would be squirming all day thinking about it. Who am I kidding…I’m still squirming!

Women get told numerous time what is classed as sexy. They’re told time and time again they have to be perfect, flawless and hair free. Something that’s actually impossible to achieve because women aren’t Barbie dolls! Persephone has proved beyond doubt that stretch marks ARE sexy, that body hair is SEXY.

Oh WOW! I have so few words because I’m rendered speechless. I adore Alice in Wonderland and it’s one of the only books I’ve read over and over. And these images just capture the fun of it perfectly.

Ok, I know I’m biased with this one. But seeing someone, especially a good friend, discover a new kink and one that is dear to me made my heart sing. I can hear the joy in her words and I can’t wait for Honey to explore this more.

This captures the everyday sex we have perfectly. Rarely do any of us get the build up and time we’d like. We mostly have that half clothed quickie between chores. And yes, I’ve always sniggered at those words too.
