This months fabulous writing

The NewHood – A Peek Inside by Submissy

I’ve always had a secret desire for hoods, its something I tend to keep locked away. Partly because they actually terrify me. After all not being able to see, hear or move is the stuff of nightmares! But theres also a part of me that fears judgement for being weird…I know, I know. But this post by Submissy just highlights what I could be missing out on. That fear and the humiliation being used against me, twisted into something so hot and sexy I’d be a fool not to dive in and give it a go.

The Writing on the Wall by Mollys Daily Kiss

I love hearing people’s stories and this is no exception. Life and the choices people make are fascinating. This one in particular shows how something you do on a bit of a whim can actually make some huge and wonderful changes in your life.

29 Things you can do to Help Grow Your Audience by The Smutlancer

My blog isn’t one of my top priorities in life, I don’t make money out of it and don’t really ever intend doing so. Its a bit of fun and most importantly I write what I write for me, if it inspires someone else then that is just a lovely extra bonus. However, I was most impressed I actually do most of the things suggested here. Maybe not as regularly as I should but still, that’s better than not at all in my book! If you do make money from your blog or intend to do so, go read this post for some easy to do tips that will make a huge difference.

The Painful Truth… by The Other Livvy

I think this is a superb post. I’m sure there are a great number of parenting and birth blogs out there but seeing the way this linked pain and in part kink for pain is both fascinating and important. As someone who hasn’t and won’t be going through this process I am in awe of you. Also, I’m in awe that you’ve managed to write a blog post in the first two weeks after you’ve given birth, I’ve been off work for the best part of two weeks and still haven’t found time to write!

This months gorgeous images

All Black and White by Cara Thereon

Whats not to love about this? The contrast of white and black skin is beautiful but add to that the black and white filter which accentuates those contrasts even more is stunning. Then there are the height differences, she’s taller than he is which gives and extra feeling to how powerful and strong she is, he is too but this is about the imagery.

Orbs by Cousin Pons

It took me a moment when I first saw this to realise what I was looking at, however abstract this is I thought I’d recognise a pair of balls when I see them! The glowing orb in the background gives an almost sci-fy feel to the photo. Although I did have to giggle at this image giving a whole new meaning to blue balls!

Winter in Sofia by Exposing 40

This is one of those images that leaves me with very little to say. My jaw dropped and I had a goldfish moment before the only thing I could say seemed to be wow! I do have a thing for high contrast black and white images and this double exposure shot shows just how effective that is.

Breathe Me by Submissy

I adore images from nature and you can’t get more back to nature than this. This feels raw and primal, like she’s biding her time before pouncing on her prey. Whilst she looks so wild there is also a sense of vulnerability too.

Season’s Greetings by Happy Come Lucky

What an absolute cracker of an image. The look of the clothes pegs pinching, twisting and pulling the skin on the breasts, the nip of the peg on her tongue all held together with such pretty lights. I love these contasts, pain and pleasure, lights and shadow all wrapped up in one. Although, I did have to giggle at the word of warning about the battery pack, sorry!

  1. Thanks very much for the kind words about my photo Orbs. I had just seen the film First Man about Neil Armstrong so I must have had planets on my brain hence the sci-fi feel. I hardly recognise my balls either in this picture!

  2. Thank you! Molly is a superb photographer
