After the last year or so being ruined because of not being able to get out and see people, gaining a little bit of freedom has been amazing. And the first thing on my list was to get out and see friends I haven’t been able to see. I cannot express how much I’ve missed my people.
After spending time getting massages and facials (no, not that kind) in the spa, Euclidean Point and I went for a walk and a natter. As we walked we stumbled across these beautiful ruins and my eye was immediately drawn to them. I tried to ignore them but they were calling out to me so off we went to explore.
I was also well aware I hadn’t managed to tick ‘ruins’ off my scavenger list. The problem was, even though it was a week day, everyone seemed to be enjoying the sun and were out and about. So off we went trying to find a quiet corner away from the crowds.
I quickly whipped off my t-shirt and sat in front of the ruins posing. When I saw the images I kicked myself for forgetting to move my handbag and T-shirt out the way. So, we tried again, bag now moved I sat back down again. Only now someone was approaching, I tried ducking down and twisting out of the way. Pointy was less concerned at my predicament but when I was able to see the whites of his eyes, with more people following closely behind I decided the walk away and not look back, sure they had seen far more than they needed to!
So the perfect shot in the ruins were ruined. Well not really, there were lots of laughs and happy memories of that day and that is what scavenger hunting is all about.

Having fun and creating memories is for me, what the Scavenger Hunt is really about.

I don’t see this as ruined but more of a interrupted opportunity to improve and already good pic. It’s a natural, relaxed pic and the bag just adds an extra tone of colour. I like it.

Nice shot even if it was slightly ruined and lots of fun memories.
Also thanks for reminding me that I can possibly add ruins to my hunt.

Lots of laughs … and sometimes lots of swearing … and happy memories are certainly what Scavenging is all about. And it’s lucky for us you were able to have this fun photo to share … and are they custom-made dunagrees!!!
