I’m going to start by telling you I love all things panties. Now I have that out of the way I’m going to tell you a little bit about terminology.
There seems to be quite a divide of people when it comes to either panties or knickers. Alot of that does seem to be a US/UK thing but not always. I don’t think it matters which your preference is, they’re essentially the same thing. My preference, however, is panties. My Granny wore knickers, they were big, functional and rather dull. I guess I just associate them with old people, not in an ageist way but growing up you just want to be different and that link is probably still with me in the back of my mind somewhere.
Panties on the other hand just sound more fun. The word feels filthier when you pronounce it. Panties can be cute, panties can be sexy.
I wrote a while back about how my choice of panties reflects my mood. Well things in this house have changed a little. I don’t chose what panties I wear each day, before I go to bed each night my partner lays out my panties and socks for the following day. He doesn’t pick my bra because that all depends on the top I’m wearing so he leaves that one up to me. I mostly love what he picks out, I love the control over me that it gives him. There was a day last week he forgot, I forgot to remind him too. It was just one of those things, we’re both busy people and sometimes things slip our minds. When I got up in the morning and didn’t see them all laid out for me, my heart dropped and I was on the verge of tears. It sounds ridiculous and alot of that was probably down to my lack of sleep and knowing I had a stressful day ahead.
We do also have a bit of fun with it, I obviously mean he has the fun. At the time of writing this I’m wearing my Christmas panties because I was cheeky. Now everybody knows you only wear Christmas panties at Christmas, you just can’t wear them at any other time!
Do I have a favourite pair of panties? I love so many different types its hard to pick one out. I love sexy lacy ones, I love cute superhero ones but the best ones are the ones that have been given to you as a gift, especially if that gift is from a gorgeous woman.

So pretty! I cannot believe I never tried a pair of pearl panties. I definitely need to get myself one even if for solo play. I am sure I would kick ass wearing this to a business meeting. It would be fun to try haha.

I love the ones pictured. I got a pair from my partner over Christmas, but haven’t worn them yet. I am pretty sure that unless I make the courage to take them out of the drawer, he will lay them out for me for play time sometimes soon. They look so sexy on you though so I might just try them soon.
As for what I like, lace and satin. I love lace as it looks innocent yet it can drive my man crazy. I also like some satin, but only it is is tight and does not sag anywhere so it needs to have some elastane or something in it.

I want a pair like this! And for me (maybe this is an American divide) it’s the difference between panties and “underwear” or (worse) “undies.” “Undies” are what my mom wore when I was a kid when I thought she was so old. Underwear is the word you can say without making anyone blush (at least in a house with two boys that’s how it works). But yes, I prefer panties…for all the reasons you mentioned.
