I love being by water, I find it soothing and relaxing to hear either the lap of gentle water or the crashing of waves. The same can be said of watching the hustle bustle of boats coming and going in a marina.
That said, it doesn’t make it easy grabbing that location for a scavenger hunt. Even if there aren’t crowds of people milling about, there’s usually a fisherman tinkering about with his boat or a bar with people gathered after a long day at sea.
So when we stumbled across this one, I hung around waiting for the right moment. Yes there was a bar nearby, yes there was someone tinkering with their boat nearby. However, there was also an icy wind blowing in off the North Atlantic so everybody was focused on what they were doing to get into the warm quickly.
A perfect opportunity to freeze my tits off and grab marina as a location, wouldn’t you say?
