I am a big fan of sensation play. It covers a huge range of different feelings, both physical and emotional feelings. It ranges from the gentlest and softest of fabrics being draped across your skin to the harsher feelings of having nails dragged across your skin in order to leave a scratch. It can make me feel from relaxed and cosy to making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up whilst all my nerves are on fire!
Out of the huge variety of things that fall into sensation play, one of my favourites is scratching. I am both the scratchee and the scratcher but I will start with why I love scratching.
Is there anything sexier than leaving my claw marks all over him? Not really, I love getting my claws into him to scratch and leave my mark. More importantly I love the reaction I get when I claw him. Even just sitting watching TV together I will just run my nails over his legs or across his back and watch him squirm or let out those delicious noises he makes.
Then there was the time when we were just about to leave for a swinging date and I scratched ‘Bee woz ‘ere’ on his back. More for giggles than any kind of possessive reasons, I hasten to add, which was made more funny (for me) because the female partner in the other couple also had the same name as me.
I love him running his nails over my skin too, digging in and leaving marks, he has been known to draw blood with a sharp nail which fired me up even more than normal. I’ve even been known to run my own nails across sunburnt skin! I love the sting and the trails it leaves on my skin. But it isn’t just nails I like being scratched with.
I’ve been lucky enough to have all sorts scratched across my skin, things like vampire gloves which make me squeal and giggle as the goose pimples are raised. I have tried a pair of bear claws used to tear pulled pork apart, I think they’ve named them wrongly though, they don’t belong to a bear, they should belong to me because they leave a perfect scratch! Then there has been needles and a wooden wax removal knife, which brings me to my ultimate goal.
I would love to feel the cold, steel blade of a beautiful knife as it marked my skin. The sting as I shower afterwards and then prodding it for days feeling that familiar ache and knowing exactly what caused it and why. However, I don’t think we’ll be dabbling with knifeplay just yet so until we do I’ll be scratching his back whilst he scratches mine!

The photo suits this perfectly!
I love the way your enthusiasm shines through 😍

Interesting photo and story Bee. To my amazement I found myself discussing knife play with a friend yesterday. Life is sometimes laden with unexpected surprises.

Your enthusiasm just makes me want to try all the things. I’m not sure about play that draws blood or parts skin, but the way you talk about it makes me sooo curious.

I love leaving claw marks as well. 😀

When you said “bear claws,” I (with a huge grin on my face) immediately thought of big, furry costume bear paws with claws sewn in! That would be fun. Absolutely brilliant photo!

I love this: “I will just run my nails over his legs or across his back and watch him squirm or let out those delicious noises he makes.” Gorgeous photo, too!

This is just wonderful. I agree scratching is excellent sensory play. And I’m with you on the knifeplay – not quite yet, but I do long for it.

I love that last line, perfectly sums this post up…. And what an absolutely great shot that is

As much as I prefer to be on the receiving end, I’m always quite proud of myself when I leave scratch marks on JB. ☺️

I love vampire gloves, got Master his first pair for Xmas, the bear claws sound good. Something we would enjoy for both of us. What have you hot inbetween your fingers in that photo ?
We wouldn’t want to do knifeplay, but do enjoy it when blood is drawn, though Master wouldn’t do needlessly either. But the claws could be fun, I will look k to those xxxx

They’re needles between my fingers. It was my attempt at impersonating Wolverine!
