Sometimes things happen in the most unexpected places and it leaves you feeling energised.
I tend to post my scavenger hunts in the order they’re taken, or at least the order I come across them in a camera or phone and remember to download them.
It just so happens that the next one on the list was this solar farm we stumbled across on a walk, we had no idea it was there and we turned a corner and the path just opened up to all these gleaming cells.
I’ve always been a big fan of green energy, although I’m under no illusion that the manufacture or recycling of green energy solutions is in any way green. But I absolutely believe we need to get away from our reliance on oils.
So imagine my surprise that this particular image popped up in the month that we actually had solar panels installed at home.
These sort of coincidences leave me feeling energised. Whilst they have their problems, I know we made the right choice to become a little more self sufficient and start savings ourselves from extortionate energy prices.
