Blood lust

When I first saw the theme of blood for this week I initially didn’t think there was much I could say about the subject but I’d be really interested what other had to say about it. Then I realised how wrong I was.

I’ve always had a bit of a fascination about my own blood, I love how it looks, the way it trickles across my skin. Some years ago I had an experience in hospital and I agreed to let a student nurse take my blood. She was left unsupervised which, in hindsight, was a bad idea but she ended up pulling the cannula out of my arm and covering me, the trolley and the floor in blood. I didn’t bat an eyelid, chaos ensued around me but I just sat there tracing my fingers through the blood making patterns and watching the drips gliding over my arm. Fast forward a few years and I still love needles, I get quite squirmy when I go for a blood test, the feel of the needle as it pierces the skin is just wonderful.

As a couple we haven’t really progressed onto any blood play, although we have experimented with staples. As intrigued by them as I was, I was really nervous about them too. Now I can safely say we both found them fantastic and both want more. I was so spaced out by the experience I can’t remember if there was any blood when they were removed. I’m fairly sure there was a tiny amount and not as much as I expected/hoped for.

The only other time any blood was involved is when Sir broke my skin with the misery stick, strangely it didn’t seem to sting like some of the other swats but as soon as he said he’d broken the skin I jumped up and ran off to have a look in the mirror, much to his amusement!

Seeing as I have a love for needles it’s naturally something I hope one day we can try, however it isn’t something I want to rush into and I know Sir feels the same way, there are so many other things out there we want to try we can’t do them all at once. Having said that I have become somewhat obsessed about trying vampire gloves, they seem so versatile. The way you can gently stroke and send tingles up your spine and then back down to the tips of your toes. Right up to the way they leave hundreds of puncture marks after a spanking, just the thought is turning me on so much.
