Who’s Bee?

About Bee

So I could tell you that my name is Bee and I’m both queer in terms of my sexuality and gender and I’m submissive to my partner Bee Keeper. We’re a monogamish couple, meaning we’re open to a point and exploring this aspect of ourselves more.

I started writing this blog as a way of expressing my exhibitionist streak. I’m very shy in person so this is where I manage to shine and announce to the world I’m here.

As the blog has progressed, so have I. As I’ve learnt more about my kinks, I’ve learnt more about who I am. It’s that journey that this blog is really about. How have I grown? What have I learnt? How have I changed?

I want to show the world that being a submissive woman doesn’t make me meek and mild. I have my own opinions and they don’t always match the Bee Keepers, I’ve been known to be called bloody minded at times but that doesn’t mean I’m not open to listening and value other people’s opinions too. I don’t fall at the feet of anyone who claims to be a dominant, you have a lot more to do if you want to be My dominant!

I’m a huge advocate of equal rights, yes you can be a submissive and an equal. Not only will I speak up wherever I can, I am a campaigner for LGBT+ issues especially in my workplace. You can also follow part of that journey in an essay I wrote for ‘Accepting a Label’ published in Identity: An Eroticon Anthology

My kinks are varied and most are fairly fluid. I have a love for bondage, humiliation and cuckqueaning. One kink we regularly partake in is needleplay which obviously includes blood, I know many people are squeamish over that so proceed with caution if you are but it’s our kink and our blog so I won’t censor that side of me.

I’ve never been much good at blowing my own trumpet so writing an about me page has always been a struggle.

Not only that, I’ve never been that good at reading them either. I tend to get a few sentences in and give up on them. I feel I find out far more about someone by engaging with them or reading their blogs. So if you really want to find out about me go and read my blog, it’s full of far more interesting things than this page and is full of all the juicy bits you really want to know about.

About the Bee Keeper

As my name suggests I am Bees’ keeper. I am their partner, their lover, their photographer and their tech support. I’m very much a wallflower who enjoys reading various blogs and perving the odd sexy image. On the odd occasion I will be convinced, by the flutter of eyelashes, to step in front of the camera or I may even have something to say.

On first impressions I am shy and an introvert, but once you get to know me I hope my dry sense of humour doesn’t make you regret it. During our relationship we have explored various kinks, some I’ve wanted to try and some I’d never even thought of and I continue to learn with Bee’s assistance. Now if only I could master tying them down to stop them running away when the hitty things come out.

My Projects

Menstruation Matters

I’ve spent years having periods that didn’t seem to fit in with what I was ‘supposed’ to have experienced. It’s taken me a long time and being part of a positive community to realise there is no normal. Not everybody is that lucky.

I wanted to create a space that shows menstruation matters, it is an important subject and shouldn’t be shied away from, we need to break down barriers and stop periods being seen as taboo. Our experiences will help others so I wanted somewhere to collate our experiences.

Scavenger Hunt

The Scavenger Hunt holds a very special place in my heart, it’s the meme that gave me a reason to start my blog in the first place which in turn welcomed me into a wonderful new world of exciting possibilities.

The Scavenger Hunt is a place for exhibitionists out there to join in by having fun and giving us all a flash. I have the same ethos as my predessessors, this is a friendly meme that welcomes anybody and everybody who wishes to join in the fun.

365 Project

The dark art of photography is something thats always eluded me. I generally have no concept of how to put together a good image. I know when something looks good just not how to come up with the right framing, depth of field and composition.

So I though I’d take a year out and learn something about myself and photography. That included how to edit images so I could improve on what came out of the camera when it fell short.

I didn’t want the added pressure of working a complex camera so all of my images were taken with the camera on my phone. All of this was achieved with the assistance and support of my usual photographer, editor, tech support and all rounf good egg The Keeper.

Testimonials

Mollys Daily Kiss
“Rumour has it that I may have slightly encouraged Bee to start a blog. I am not remotely sorry for doing so because the result is this hive of beetastic activity. Their writing is always thoughtful and thought-provoking mixed with a fun and humourous side. Sometimes I am squirming in my seat and sometimes I am giggling and sometimes even both. Also the marriage of photographer and model between them and the Beekeeper makes for a blogging visual delight. So yeah, not remotely sorry I encouraged them, the bloggingsphere is a more exciting place with them in it.”

Floss Does Life
“I think Bee is a great blogger, I think other people agree with me that Bee is a great blogger, I sometimes think Bee doesn’t believe she is a great blogger, so can you please go and visit her site, find a post or picture of hers you love and tell her that she is freakin’ awesome. Bee is another person whose photographic creativity just floors me on more than one occasion. She also hosts Menstruation Matters, which I’ve written for but definitely will be writing more about in the future because we need to be talking about periods, menopause, hormones, contraception and all the other things that go hand in hand with menstruation. If you haven’t linked up to menstruation Matters yet, you absolutely should”

Zebra Rose Sub
“Sub-Bee writes excellent hot stuff and is a jolly nice person”

Little Switch Bitch
“I take great delight in being able to call Bee my friend. They literally put their wing around me and helped me outta my shell that evening at Eroticon and I will be forever grateful. With a heart full to brim of kindness and a blog full of the sexiest images and writing that kickass – there is quite literally something for everyone in Bee’s blog.”
